1956年，遵义医科大学病理生理学教研室在我国第一代病理生理学家魏文汉教授的领导下建立，并于1981年获得硕士学位授予权，也是基础医学一级学科五大主干学科方向之一。在魏文汉、耿则智、钱振超、裴德恺、陈代雄等老一代学者的带领下，病理生理学教研室以中西医结合防治急腹症研究、肿瘤免疫和药物治疗为特色方向，取得了非常辉煌的成绩，荣获贵州省科学技术进步奖和科学技术成果奖等省级以上科技奖项20余项，同时曾受国家卫生部及省有关部门委托，举办了全国病理学高级师资进修班、中西医结合研究急腹症讲习班、分子病理生理学及肿瘤免疫和肿瘤生物治疗等学习班，为全国高等医药院校培养了大批病理生理学的高级师资，以及中西医结合和肿瘤免疫的临床诊治与研究骨干。

目前病理生理学教研室有专任教师9人，其中教授1人，副教授3人，获得博士学位教师3人（1人有海外留学经历），具有硕士招生资格3人。教研室在承担医学本科生的病理生理学和研究生的高级病理生理学教学工作的同时，致力于表观遗传学与疾病、肿瘤药物靶点筛选及细胞增殖机制、动脉粥样硬化的发病机制及防治等科研工作，配备有病理生理学示教室、分子生物学实验室、细胞培养室、动物研究室等科研平台，并先后承担了包括国家自然科学基金在内的多项国家和贵州省各级科研课题40余项，培养硕士研究生30余名，联合培养博士生3名，发表论文300余篇。

近年来随着学科建设工作的深入开展，病理生理学教研室在本科生课程改革、硕士生培养管理、科学研究工作等方面取得了明显的进步和提升，并逐步发展成为教学改革和科学研究共同发展的高水平人才培养基地。

Department of Pathophysiology, Zunyi Medical University

In 1956, Department of Pathophysiology of Zunyi Medical University was established under the leadership of Professor Wenhan Wei, the first generation pathophysiologist in China, and in 1981, it was granted the right to grant master's degree, which is also one of the five main disciplines of the first-level discipline ofpreclinical medicine. Under the leadership of the older generation of scholars such as Wenhan Wei, Zezhi Geng, Zhenchao Qian, Dekai Pei, and Daixiong Chen, Department of Pathophysiology has made brilliant achievements in the research of prevention and treatment of acute abdomen with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, tumor immunity and drug treatment, and won more than 20 provincial-level scientific and technological awards such as Guizhou Science and Technology Progress Award and Science and Technology Achievement Award. At the same time, it has been entrusted by the Ministry of Health and relevant provincial departments. The National Advanced Pathology Teacher Training Course, the Workshop on Acute Abdominal Disease of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, the classes on molecular pathophysiology, tumor immunity and tumor biotherapy were held, and a large number of advanced pathophysiology teachers and clinical diagnosis, treatment and research backbones of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine and tumor immunity were trained for medical colleges and universities nationwide.

At present, there are 9 full-time teachers in Department of Pathophysiology, including 1 professor, 3 associate professors, 3 teachers with doctor's degree (1 with overseas study experience), and 3 with master's enrollment qualifications. While undertaking the teaching of pathophysiology for medical undergraduates and advanced pathophysiology for postgraduates, Department of Pathophysiology is committed to scientific research such as epigenetics and diseases, tumor drug target screening and cell proliferation mechanism, pathogenesis and prevention of atherosclerosis, etc. It is equipped with scientific research platforms such as pathophysiology laboratory, molecular biology laboratory, cell culture room, animal laboratory, etc. It has successively undertaken more than 40 national and Guizhou scientific research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, trained more than 30 postgraduates, and jointly trained doctoral students.

In recent years, with the in-depth development of discipline construction, Department of Pathophysiology has made obvious progress and promotion in undergraduate curriculum reform, master's training management, scientific research and other aspects, and gradually developed into a high-level talent training base for the joint development of teaching reform and scientific research.
